We all know there's always a first to everything, and this is one of mine. My Dad had encountered one back in the '90s, and that was when everyone in the family thought that silver's more than enough to shank one.
Long story short, the shtriga escaped.
And Dad thinks the one I'm currently after is the same one as the last time.
Okay, so lore says that silver works. Like that worked well for Dad last time. So, uh, is there something we're missing? Some ritual to bless the silver with, or are there certain procedures or specifications I must follow before I can off the child-killing freak?

You need consecrated wrought-iron rounds, mate. Wait until the bloody bastard is feeding, and blow it all to Hell, yeah? You'll have to be careful, shtriga's are hard to kill, but if you kill it anyone it was draining should recover.
